All steps of the application process (application + virtual chat) must be completed by the last Friday in February for the following school year's Charter School lottery (K-11th grade).

Although the lottery for the 2024-2025 school year is now completed (see here for results), we will continue to accept applications and add them to the waitlist in the order they are received. Spots will be offered as they become available through January 2025.

Children should be between 6 weeks and 3 years of age for enrollment in The Community Nurtury.  Families are welcome to enroll/join our waitlist when anticipating the arrival of their child.  Children at least 2.5 years of age with an independent bathroom routine may be considered for enrollment in Early Education.

Children should be at least 2.5-3 years of age with an independent bathroom routine established.

Children who will be 5 by October 1st are eligible for kindergarten and should apply for our tuition-free charter school (see column to the right).

Any child residing in Indiana who is at least 5-years-old by October 1st is eligible.  Children enrolled in our charter school will be able to re-enroll each year without reapplying.  However, "kindergarten" moving to "first grade" may be subject to an additional lottery if spaces are not available.

Any learner residing in Indiana who is between 7th and 11th grade is eligible.  We believe "11th grade" is the latest a learner could be accepted and still have adequate time to complete all of the graduation requirements.  Adolescents enrolled will be able to re-enroll each year without reapplying.

The ages described above are for application purposes only.  Once enrolled, children and teens are grouped as follows:

Ages 0 to 2.5 - The Community Nurtury; ages 3 to 6 - Early Ed; ages 6 to 9 - Lower Elementary; ages 9 to 12 - Upper Elementary;

ages 12 to 14 - The Islands; ages 14 to 18 - The Woods.
